Purpose of the test

       Test the leakage of vermiculite products in the medium of water (steam), different temperatures and pressures, and determine the hydrophilicity of vermiculite according to the leakage situation.

Brief introduction of the experiment

Test subjects:

CPS4000HTR 316L inner and outer ring 316L steel with vermiculite filled spiral wound gasket

Gasket size:

DN80 PN50 (HG/T 20631)

Test basis:

GB/T 14180-1993;

Test items:

Thermal cycle test (temperature 100-315℃, 5 cycles)

Test process

The bolt size is M30, the specific pressure is 70MPa, the torque of the bolt is 250N according to the formula, and the installation is completed.

After the water is transferred, the temperature is first raised to 100 ° C, and the temperature is raised to 315 ° C at a warming rate of ≥50 ° C /h. After reaching a stable state, the temperature is kept for 4 hours, and then the cooling rate of ≥50 ° C /h will reduce the temperature below 100 ° C. Repeat 5 cycles of hot and cold alternating at 100℃~315℃.

During the whole test process, there was no temperature drop and pressure drop, which proved that the seal was in good condition.

Open the flange to observe the gasket and flange surface, slightly residual, flange surface is in good condition.
