Test the leakage of vermiculite products in the medium of water , different pressures, and determine the hydrophilicity of vermiculite according to the leakage situation.
Test subjects:
CPS4000HTR 316L inner and outer ring 316L steel with vermiculite filled spiral wound gasket
Gasket size:
DN80 PN50 (HG/T 20631)
Test basis:
GB/T 14180-1993;
See NB/T 20014.15-2010
Test items:
Hydraulic test (1.3 times the medium pressure)
Install the gasket and calculate the torque of the bolt according to the formula T=K*F0*d(N*m), the bolt size is M20, the specific pressure is 70MPa, and the torque is 175N.
After the installation is completed, the water pressure starts to 5.5MPa, and no leakage occurs for 3 hours.
Continue to pressure to 6.5MPa, 10MPa, for 30 minutes, no leakage.
Then reduce the pressure to 6.5Mpa (1.3 times the nominal pressure), 30 minutes without leakage.
Open the flange, observe the gasket and flange surface, the gasket surface is relatively intact, and the flange surface has no obvious vermiculite adhesion.
The used winding gasket was re-installed and pressed, with a pre-tightening force of 175N, and no leakage was observed after 30 minutes.
Regarding more test results of CPS vermiculite series products under different working conditions, we will continue to update them in the future.
